Kas Kastner's Spitfire, GT-6, TR-3, TR-4, TR-250, TR-6 Triumph Preparation Handbook - the compilation of the original Competitioon preparation Manuals along with new stuff, modifications, interviews, racing stories about the Triumph Competition Department, and owner/drivers and their cars.

Thirty five years have elapsed since Kastner laboured over his last Competition Preparation Manual for Triumph racing. This handbook is a result of his work with the Triumph US Competition Department. It has been updated with technical information, specifications, interviews and racing stories.

However, some models have been left out or discontinued from racing activities as only models dictated by sales groups made it to the racing scene, and when racing stopped the stream of up to date information stopped.

Rather than trying to tie a modification or instruction down to a particular model, the information will be for all models unless specifically noted.

To break the monotony of technical reading there are a few stories along with interviews from owner/ drivers who have prepared their cars for racing with a short list of modifications to the full gamut of modification possibilities.
