The 250GT was Ferrari's first designed-from-scratch road car introduced in 1956. Nevertheless the cars still had the famous racing background to draw on.

The V12 Testa Rossa was then introduced as well as the 4.9 Super Fast and the 206 Dino. This was also the period of the famous 250GT, still the most famous sports racer of the time.
