Description

By: Brooklands Books .

In 1934 it came to the notice of the press that BMW had introduced a 6-cylinder car, which had been doing well in competition.

In 1935 AFN announced that they would be assembling the BMW cars under license and they were to be known as Frazer-Nash BMWs. Up to 1939 several models were introduced.

After the second world war, production started again in Munich with passenger cars. It was not until 1955 that the first sports car was shown at Paris.

This book is a collection of road tests, model introductions, specification and data figures, design and driving impressions.

Models covered include:
1934 1500cc 2-Seater, 1935 Frazer-Nash BMW Saloon, 1935 Type 55, Type 45 Cabrio, 326, 328, 320, 326, 335, 327, Mille Miglia 328, 501, 502, 503 and 507.
