Description

By: Brooklands Books .

As part of the group controlled by the Hawker Siddeley aircraft Co. All their resources were behind the evolution of the new Two litre Armstrong Siddeley which went into production in 1945. Several models were built over the following years with the total production run being 22,717. The production potential was diverted to more profitable pursuits than car manufacture and this finally ceased in 1960 with one solitary Mk II Star.

This book covers road tests with technical & performance data, buying used & historical section.

Models covered are 16/18 HP, Sapphire 234, Sapphire 236, Sapphire 346, Star Sapphire and Star Limousine, Typhoon, Hurricane Drophead Coupe, Sapphire Limousine, Whitley & Lancaster.

180 pages, 300 illus.
