The third edition of The Jaguar File brings the story of Britain's pre-eminent make of car up to date. Jaguar's sporting heritage included winning the Le Mans 24 Hours classic sports car race seven times, and competing in Formula 1 grand prix racing, the very pinnacle of automotive technology. Style pacesetter and engineering innovator, Jaguar became a cultural icon with cars like the E-type of 1961, the XJ series of saloons and the S-type, XK8 and XKRs of the 1990s.
