The U.S. builder's roots could be traced back to the turn ant dsat century while the European brands came an a bit later. The classic Indian brand succumbed to market pressures in 1953, leaving only Harley-Davidson as the sole American maker of two-wheeled transportation.
In June of 1959, a fresh face entered the fray on these shores.The Honda brand started out slowly, but grew rapidly as buyers embraced the simple and efficent machines from from this Japanese manufactturer Within five years, Honda was joined by more Japanese builders, as Kawasaki, Suzuki and Yarmaha offered their own brand of diminutiveb ut highly capable motorcycles.
