Ever since the first PS page appeared in Road & Track in the December 1959 issue, readers have found the last page of the magazine a treat. Whether the PS page made them chuckle, ponder or, occasionally, mourn, they have responded with a continuous onslaught of photo submissions.
Over the years we have published a wide variety of PS items, from artworks to cartoons, but primarily photos that tell a story. Over recent years (the last 20 or so), the fictional character Bob cropped up frequently as either the hero or the foil of many of the gags.
The PS page is a favorite with all of us who work on the editorial staff of Road & Track. We love to come up with appropriate captions when necessary. And, of course, there are those photos that need no words. I hope that you enjoy this collection of our favorite PS pages. And that you will look forward to many more to come in future issues of Road & Track.
Every mile a memory.
