Amaroo Park Raceway in Sydney was a popular venue with race drivers, teams and fans alike and this latest release of Seven Sport's Magic Moments of Motorsport celebrates some great races from the 1.93-kilometre layout.
Perfect for television with its amphitheatre nature, the racing at Amaroo was often close and exciting.

On this special Chevron release we dig deep into the vault for some gem races from the now-closed circuit. We'll rewind back to 1979 for an AMSCAR Series touring car race featuring Toranas and Falcons before
fast-forwarding to another AMSCAR round from the international Group A era in 1986.

Also included is the opening round of the 1989 Australian Touring Car Championship, another AMSCAR round from 1992 and the 1994 ATCC round at Amaroo — the last time the top-level V8 championship visited the venue.
