These cars have the conventional front engine\/rearwheel drive layout. The engines are all inline six-cylinder with a 4.0 litre Multiport Electronic Fuel Injection (MPEFI). Power from the engine is transferred through an automatic or manual transmission to the differential by a tubular driveshaft incorporating universal joints.
