Description
By: Barry Lake .
Though the Commodore was the basis of all the major models, there were occasional diversions, most notably the Opel coupe-based HDT Monza and the Statesman-based HDT Magnum. The most controversial of all the Commodore cars was the first Brock model not approved by Holden, the HDT Director that was unveiled so spectacularly in February 1987. This book presents the collection of Brock's HDT Commodore-based road cars. It needs to be said upfront, that the very nature of the HDT organisation makes it impossible to be definitive about some aspects like precise product specifications and production numbers. After all, certain models varied from one example to the next - often greatly - due to running changes or 'special order' variations, etc.
