Jean Dieuzaide is a well known French photographer who is as talented as the famous Cartier Bresson, Doisneau or Boubat. Nevertheless he remains unknown to fans of car races.
Before being recognized as an artist, no one knows he earned his living as a sports reporter for several newspaper from the South of France. Among his huge archives, featuring rugby at boxing matches, were sleeping 110 photos, mostly unpublished. Therefore, all the car racing enthusiast are given a wonderful opportunity to discover and enjoy this exceptional treasure.
Taken between 1946 and 1967 during Albi, Cadours and Pau Grand Prix, these photos express how talented Jean Dieuzaide is. Showing either racing scenes or moments of relaxation, these pictures restore all the Grand Prix atmosphere. And they all deserve, the name of 'icons' we daily use in our cyber-language.
