To Mark the centenary of Philip Vincent's birth, the Vincent Publishing Company has produced a book that portrays the character of Vincent as well as recording in book form an edited version of Tales of the Snarling Beast - a series of articles that he wrote for Motorcycle Sport in the Sixties.
The Editor is Roy Harper, who wrote the official history of the H.R.D.and Vincent era with H.R.Davies, Philip Vincent, Philip Irving et al in the Seventies, and Harper recalls his experiences of working with P.C.V. when they produced their four Vincent history books. His 1973 interview with Vincent is also included.
This publication includes many previously unpublished pictures from the collections of P.C.V., Herb Harris and Roy Harper. It is therefore a valuable source of information to the many Vincent
enthusiasts around the world who continue to cherish and maintain Philip Vincent's legendary creation, the Snarling Beast.
