Description

Author: Colin Date, Hardbound, 128 Pages,, ISBN: 9780760321027, First Edition, 2006 - **VERY RARE BOOK IN EXCELLENT UNREAD CONDITION**

When the very first Mustang hit the scene in 1964, it represented the beginning of an exciting time in the automotive industry: the pony car wars.

The Mustang shattered sales records and created a huge impact on the industry and the nation. Competitors in Detroit quickly rose up and tried to snag a piece of the action. Ford needed to react to maintain its lead and domination of the market.

The introduction of the lower, longer, and wider 1967 Mustang reinvented America's first pony car and once again blew away the competition. The 1967-1970 Mustangs proved their muscle car prowess each year with the introduction of more options and ever more powerful engines. The Mustangs of this era were performance driven and the owners weren't afraid to prove it.

Original Mustang 1967-1970 is chock full of detailed information covering the standard and optional features offered on each version of the Mustangs of this era. Production figures, specifications, VIN identification and location, and color and trim codes are just a
few of the many originality aspects covered in this book.

Originality is key for 1967-1970 Mustangs, and this book will help owners, enthusiasts, and Mustang purists determine what's stock and correct and what's not.
