Detailed Description:
In Mustang Masterpieces, author Jerry Heasley shares the history he lived, traveling around the country gathering photos and text for magazine stories on Shelby Mustangs. In this book, the people are the heroes. Enthusiasts buy the vintage cars. They restore them. They do an excellent job telling the history. Their restorations - such as with the 19651970 Shelby Mustangs - are preserving history and educating us at the same time.
In the case of the late-model Shelby Mustangs, such as the 2006 and up models, Heasley photographed the cars at Shelby Automobiles in Las Vegas before enthusiasts bought them. In many instances, he got to snap photos of the prototypes. He has chronicled all the new Shelby Mustangs, from the '06 GT-H to the latest Terlingua models.
