Description
By: Mick Walker .
European Racing Motorcycles is fourth in the series. Unlike the other volumes, which concentrate on a single nation, this volume covers no less than twelve countries, all of which enjoyed a fair level of success, but didn't quite justify a book to themselves. The Czechoslovakian and Spanish chapters are the longest, but all are equally fascinating. Some European nations such as Denmark and Norway produced riders rather than bikes.
Many individual marques are covered, plus various Soviet types which, although under a single heading, are in fact the product of seven individual factories. This book also encompasses many talented engineers, designers and riders of world standing.
