John Reynolds first slung his leg over a bike when he was just ten months old. It was a small home-made trike and he started riding this long before he could walk. Little did his parents realise that 'JR' had discovered his career and would go on to become a six-times British Champion motorcycle racer and one of the most popular riders in the paddock.

competing in one of the hardest and most unforgiving sports in the world.
The book is co-written with Jason McClean, who has known John Reynolds for many years, latterly in his PR and marketing role with Rizla Suzuki. McClean, a journalist, was chief reporter at Motor Cycle News and later edited the motorcycle trade magazine Inside Line.
