- Real techniques for outrageous Results

I met Eddie Paul through a mutual contact at Snap-On Tools so I knew we had at least one thing in common right from the start. As a "car guy," I love to meet other car guys, and Eddie falls into that category at the top of the list. It's not often that a guy can go to a shop today and sec the type of customizing that started hot rodding back in the '50s and '60s. Those were the years when I became familiar with names like Winfield, Roth, and Starbird, and the cars that they built helped to build my enthusiasm for high-performance and customizing.

Another thing that Eddie and I have in common is that we're also motorcycle enthusiasts. We both ride bikes as often as we drive our cars and the bikes that we ride have to be as unique and powerful as the cars that we drive. One of my recent acquisitions is a 502-cubic-inch big-block Chevy-powered Boss Hoss, which was delivered straight from the factory to Eddies shop for a custom pearl blue paint job. While I was there, I got a preview of some of the madness that was taking place. Eddie Paul's well-disguised insanity was clearly evident at every workstation in his shop!

The Chopper One build was well underway and every reader of this book will get an over-the-shoulder look at how the whole outrageous project came together. Eddies pursuit of invention, business and mechanical marvels, along with his total enthusiasm for custom bikes, makes him the ideal person to write a book on building the ultimate chopper.

From one rider to another, I think you'll really enjoy Eddie Paul's Extreme Chopper Building
