By: Peter J Tuthill .
From August Bank Holiday 1952 to Whit Monday 1955 Davidstow race circuit in North Cornwall provided the thrills of Motor Racing for the first time ever in the West Country.
In its brief lifespan it attracted many of Britain's top drivers and staged three Formula One races in less than 12 months.
Davidstow provided Lotus with their first Fl victory, a fact overlooked by almost all the record books.
After almost fifty years following Motorsport in all its forms, particularly in his home county, Peter Tutthill proudly recalls the circuits history.
What were once referred to as "the least known formula one races ever held", deserve to receive better coverage; this book should ensure that this statement is no longer valid.
